Riverfest 2010
In 1970, the city of Wichita celebrated its 100th anniversary with a year-long celebration. One weekend of the celebration was called the Wichitennial River Festival. It proved so popular, local businessmen formed a non-profit organization, Wichita Festivals, Inc. (WFI) to produce the event annual. That was the beginning of the Wichita River Festival®, now known as Riverfest.

A 39-Year Tradition
Riverfest brings so much to the community of Wichita:

• An average of 300,000 people venture to the heart of downtown Wichita to listen to more than 150 hours of musical entertainment, participate in children’s activities, compete in sporting events and enjoy the fun that is Riverfest!

For only $5, you receive a button that is your ticket to all nine days of the Festival! Pick up a button at any button retail outlet location: Dillons, QuikTrip, Walgreens, Walmart and dozens of other locations around Wichita.

Admission to West Bank Concerts
Cost of admission to all three West Bank concerts for ages 10 and above will be $10 plus a button. Children ages 6-10 are admitted with a button and a donation of a non-perishable item to the Kansas Food Bank, while all children under the age of 5 are free!
